ok
so getting "real" raw nuts is tough and expensive,
what about seeds?
are the raw seeds you find at bulk barns and in the regular grocery "really raw" ?

thanks

In the UK, seeds from wholefood shops tend to be raw (apart from pumpkin seeds which are not). It's easy to test with most seeds by sprouting them - if they sprout they are good to eat.

Of course whole hemp seeds in the USA are always not raw (as far as I understand).

Seeds are easy. If you find a source...and sprout them....over 3 days. If they form a little plant...it's all good. If not - no go...you know? Fresh hulled sunflower seeds are always a good bet.
