Date: October 24, 2008 11:31PM Melons. Kiwi. Yuck.
Bannanas - Yuck. Unless they're blended with other fruit in a smoothie. Re: fruits you dont like

Date: October 24, 2008 11:31PM Actually, none. Though I couldn't stand fresh stawberries
(or tomatoes or celery for that matter) until I went Vegan and started eating more Raw. And I couldn't stand grapefruit until I started putting a little into my fresh juice and I acquired a taste for it. I also couldn't tolerate the taste (or smell) of durian until I had it a couple of times. Now it's GREAT! I wonder if others have similar stories... Date: October 24, 2008 11:37PM I certainly don't crave the sweet fruits like I crave tomatoes, and veggies - spinach, romaine, onions.. etc. I only like apples if one is included in a carrot based juice. I am not even wild about bannanas, and only eat them because they are convenient and easy to take along with me. While fresh melons are still available, I am not a fan of them and probably only eat them once or twice a summer. I would make an awful fruitarian. So far I am listening to my body and devouring mostly fresh veggies. Re: fruits you dont like

Date: October 24, 2008 11:42PM All have their good qualities. Some, as I recall, can be quite tart...or bitter.....especially when not ripe.....passionfruit comes to mind. Grapefruit & Pommello I can basically do without! LOL.

Date: October 25, 2008 12:38AM Peaches. I used to like papaya but last time I had it it tasted like candy, ack too sweet. Persimmons are also way too sweet. Honeydew melons are kinda dull. Re: fruits you dont like

Strawberries were a fav on SAD though.. Same with blueberries. Unless it's just because I got used to berry tastes being more ..mild.. because I used them so much in smoothies? Then again, I couldn't stand a strawberry/bannana smoothie with too many strawberries either. Always liked grape tomatoes. Regular ones I like to blend and drink it as a juice. Weirdness. Date: October 25, 2008 03:26AM Just bananas I suppose. I prefer not to eat them outside of putting them in smoothies. Nothing much fantastic in a banana anyways, lots of other fruits with more nutritional bang for the buck. That's probably why my body doesn't like them Re: fruits you dont like

Something about them doesn't 'feel' right. I eat about 6 in a year. Maybe in a smoothie as you suggested. Would Bananas, Strawberries, and something Green go together?.....WY Re: fruits you dont like

Date: October 25, 2008 01:08PM For me, Noni too. Beside Noni, it's all good when ripe. But Noni really stinks and unlike durian that stinks too, Noni have a really disgusting taste, awful! Date: October 25, 2008 04:16PM Hmm I don't think I've never had a Noni. I'd like to try one. I guess I also don't like dried fruits, never really been into that. I prefer to have my fruits with water in them. Re: fruits you dont like

Date: October 25, 2008 08:32PM I tried fresh noni in Thailand. I didn't like it, as it wasn't sweet and smelled very much like rotten cheese. I can't see why someone would eat this over other wonderful tropical fruits like mangosteens, mangoes. durian, papaya, etc. Re: fruits you dont like

Date: October 25, 2008 09:46PM A lot of the more delicate tropical fruits don't transport well, so while I don't actually dislike them, the ones I find for sale in New York State are never very good and always too expensive. When I'm shopping I often skip by the display of exotic tropicals so quickly you might think I have something against them. Re: fruits you dont like

Date: October 27, 2008 06:58PM I find kiwi rather boring. Feel a bit guilty saying that, but...it's true.
Not too mad on grapefruit - like it once in a while. Not too keen on MOST passion fruit, but did once have a 'large golden' variety once that tasted amazing - quite different from the usual ones. Re: fruits you dont like

Date: October 28, 2008 12:43AM pomegranates are really interesting, beautiful
and burst with anti oxidants but too much work and the white center of each sparkly love drop seed is too bitter for me also i prefer fruits that can be eaten as a whole pomegranates seem only about 50% edible a few times i've tried the white pith very mouth puckering but i'd love to have a pomegranate dyed shirt Re: fruits you dont like
