Favorite Foods:

McCain - enchiladas, pizza, BBQ and shrimp.
Obama - spinach and broccoli, nuts, Dentyne Ice gum, and handmade milk chocolates from Fran’s Chocolates in Seattle.

Least Favorite Foods:

McCain - Says he doesn’t “do too well with vegetables.”
Obama - Skips salt and vinegar potato chips and mayo, will eat beets and asparagus only “if no other vegetables are available,” and drinks water over soda.

Is this the new famous presidential candy, like Reagan with his jellybeans :-)

Isn't Dentyne Ice Gum loaded with aspartame, a brainkiller? It is almost impossible to find sugar-onlygum & candy anymore.

Weirdly, the only sugarless gum without aspartame are the cinnamon tasting ones, any brand. I take xylitol over sugar. But NEVER any aspartame.

I chew gum as a rare emergency breath measure only. I once read about natural chewing sticks (licorice, i think), but havent tried them. Anyeone?

i saw an interview with barack and michelle together and michelle was all about getting him to quit. he smoked off and on on the campaign. He's probably given it up by now

but hey, whether he smokes or not I'm not one to judge; if he runs the country well, he's good with me, cigs and all. I just hope for his health he stops - he'll age like hell if not, probably faster then gore (no offense to him, but damn)
politics + smoking = not a good look, yikes

i dont judge him either

i just dont want him getting cancer
now that we finally got him in office

he's got quite the mess to deal with
he enjoys working out
hopefully that will help with the additional stress

He quit smoking. I think he'll age gracefully. We'll probably see him with more white hair though - especially if he gets a 2nd term. Most Presidents begin to age - comes with the territory. Very high stress.

Carter had a thing for peanuts
Bush Jr had a thing for war
and Clinton had a thing for the ladies.

Sorry couldn't resist.

Here's to Obama's continued great health. From the interviews I've heard with him he's more health conscious than the average american which is saying a lot.
