making soy sauce

Date: November 19, 2008 04:22PM So last nigt I was eating dinner with my partner, and the bottle of nama shoyu was on the table and we got to talking about it, Anyway, I wasn't really thinking and said we could probably just make some ourselves to which his reply was
"What just puree up some soybeans and through it in the window?" At this I could just not stop laughing because it really shows how he thinks about the whole raw transition process and anyway, I just thought it was funny, sorry I digress. So I looked it up a little bit, and essentially it is just that but more complicated. I wanted to ask if anybody has ever tried brewing their own soy sauce? It seems labor intensive but the end result is probably fantastic. A little ambitious but surely someone or someone they know has tried this? Edited 1 time(s).
