Irony and beer....

One of my kids asked me the other day to explain what irony means....

I wonder if this would qualify:

My hubby went and bought himself a case of beer a few weeks ago, and the beer company was having some kind of promotion that entitled him to a big keg-sized beer mug as a reward for buying a case of their brand of beer.

He would never use it, but since it was free, he brought it home.

I, on the other hand LOVE it - what a perfect mug for smoothies, and so much better than the plastic ones I have had to use up until now.

Would you say it is ironic to drink your morning smoothie every day from a giant beer mug? LOL!

That's great!!! I drink my smoothies out of a 32 oz. beer mug that I got at a yard sale! I'd put a pic online but I don't know where my camera is. Cheers!!!

I totally drink my smoothie out of a extra giant beer mug like that. A friend who worked at a bar got me 2 of them and they're great!

Cool.
And the good thing is that you are drinking something ALOT better than beer.
