Nutritional Data on Raw Foods

Hi

I am in the UK and have just started on 90% raw diet. Feeling full of energy, but still having skin problems, which is why I started. I told my mother of my diet and she was concerned I wasnt getting enough protein. I told her its in the veggies that I am eating and she said there isn't any protein in veggies. So I showed her the following site, which I also found to be very informative about the nutritional content and value of raw foods:

[www.nutritiondata.com] - link to the veggies section.

It will also be useful for anyone starting on, or living on a raw foods diet. I will continue to look through this website. Check out bananas under the fruits section, almost the perfect food. I also like that it shows how anti-inflammatory raw foods are (Kale is extremely anti-inflammatory). Spinach is full of Vitamin K.

I would advise you all take a look.

Paul
