Freezing Young Coconuts

Date: December 03, 2008 11:46PM I have a refrigerated shipment of young coconuts being delivered to my home this week. I had planned to separate the water from the meat and then freeze them both. Now, I don't have time to do that.
Can I freeze fresh, young, whole coconuts, shell and all? If so, this resolves my problem. Thanks. Re: Freezing Young Coconuts

These coconuts stay fresh for about 7-10 days after you receive them. If you want to order a few cases and plan to keep them for longer use, we recommend you freeze the coconuts whole or scoop the meat out with water, bottle it and freeze until ready to use. In the freezer these coconuts can keep for many months might take awhile to thaw again tho Re: Freezing Young Coconuts
