If so has it worked for you? Love to get some feedback on this. Re: Increasing fat intake prior to menstruation

Date: July 13, 2009 02:52PM Even on cooked foods, I know I used to make a huge peanut butter & jelly or peanut butter, agave, and banana sandwich before my period. I think our desire for fat increases.....or at least appetite for calorie-dense foods. However, appetite is not the same as hunger. We only need about 100 extra calories per day for menstruation, so I tend to think it's more of an emotional want. Re: Increasing fat intake prior to menstruation

The jelly, agave and banana you mention above are obviously sweet foods. Is it your opinion that appetite for calorie dense foods in general increases, rather than simply fat? thanks ffx Re: Increasing fat intake prior to menstruation

Date: July 13, 2009 06:06PM Yeah, my cravings were fatty, I thought, not sweet. I wanted the peanut butter or soynut butter or hempseed butter, and I don't normally like those things. The sweet foods were added so I could stand the saltiness of the peanut butter. Re: Increasing fat intake prior to menstruation
