yearning for crackers

hi guys, I've been on 99% raw foods for over two months. Before that I ate about 65% raw, so the diet isn't a huge change for me. The thing I miss though are crackers. Crunchy things to snack. I currently live in India, I don't have a dehydrator and can't get one here, plus the one thing I find difficult is all the time spent in the kitchen making stuff. Is anyone out there making crackers and raw breads commercially? And can anyone answer the food prep angle? I don't want to become a raw food chef and actually, don't want to think about food all the time. I just like the feeling of being raw.

Flax crackers are very popular and are available commercially in the United States, though I don't know if that helps you.

You can use your oven at 100 degrees and leave a little open

I get very strong craving for corn chips, and put them in my salads alot of times.
They are only corn, oil, and salt. The good quality ones.
But yes they are cooked .

I have made sprouted wheat crackers in my dehydrator though, and they are good.

Corn chips, when I made them they were too thick and hard like cardboard. It took me a long time to make them I had to dehydrate like 4 ears and then grind it up with 4 other ears and getting the corn off the cob was messy too. I was so pissed

Doesn't sound like that much effort compared to some of the pics of things you've made.

I never make that much effort, just wash, chop, and down the hatch.

yeah, I'll have to admit that I don't go to much trouble either. I call most of my foods finger foods. Take grapes for example, I just pull them off the cluster and pop em in my mouth like popcorn. Yum.

I will admit its alot of trouble making and dehydrating crackers.
But I look at it like a hobby.
