Stores and places

What are some good places to go food shopping in NYC. I've just started eating raw and my local supermarket doesn't have any organic food sad smiley I went on a web-site to look for recipes and most of these things I have no idea where to find.

Are you limited to Manhattan? If not, consider joining the Park Slope Food Co-op in Brooklyn. You'll find great prices, quality and selection of organic produce. Otherwise, there are lots of decent Manhattan stores although you'll pay more. The local Yellow Pages lists them.
