Date: November 16, 2009 12:47AM I would not suggest it. U would have to defrost it to get the skin off and it would be really a soggy mess. Re: Question on Freezing Bananas

Date: November 16, 2009 12:51AM Yeah, peel them first. I did it the other way once & the skin turns black & is difficult to peel off. They do make delicious smoothies/raw ice cream by freezing! Re: Question on Freezing Bananas

Date: November 17, 2009 12:00PM I freeze them with the skin on. If you run then frozen bananas under hot water for a few seconds, it doesn't heat the banana on the inside (it is still raw), and the skin slips off in one cylinder (kind of looks like a condom!! LOL!)
Because it is frozen inside, the brief nature of the hot water doesn't affect what is inside. Although, I only do this when making raw ice cream or something like that. I have never tried cutting them. "With life as short as a half taken breath, don't plant anything but love."- Rumi Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
