Are peanuts raw?

Are peanuts able to be considered a raw food if they are shelled and labeled raw? I am asking this because almonds are steamed, but are raw peanuts still available?

Peanuts are terribly susceptible to aflatoxin, a dangerous fungal contamination, so in most cases, peanuts must be pasteurized for sale. I think it's the same as with "raw" almonds--they aren't really. On raw food order websites, they have "jungle" peanuts, which are different, not processed this way, and very tasty. Expensive, though.
