It's a stimulant that makes me feel jittery. I also think cacao is addictive. Despite some nutritional value, there isn't anything in it that I can't get from other foods.

No, but it is tasty in small amounts.

durian rider has something against everyone that doesn't eat the way he does. He tends to dominate the board but that doesn't mean his way is the only way.

"potent nutritional powerhouse"... whatever that means. Every website trying to sell something and make a buck claims they have the newest and best superfood with zillions of claims. E3Live, Wheatgrass, Maca, Coconut oil, Bee Polen, Seaweeds, etc. You'd be spending 1,000 on super nutritional powerhouses a month when you should be spending it on real food.

A quick search in Wikipedia found: "As with caffeine, theobromine can cause sleeplessness, tremors, restlessness, anxiety, as well as contribute to increased production of urine. Additional side effects include loss of appetite, nausea, and vomiting."

Doesn't sound "healthy" to me.

Raw cacao is not even raw, from what I've read, the raw cacao powder and butter that was being sold by leading raw retailers was reaching temperatures as high as 400 degrees

Cacao is a decent source of nutrition, it has the highest amount of antioxidents per weight than any other food. Rich in minerals, neurotransmitter analogues and more.

The downside, is that it contains small levels of caffiene and theobromine which are stimulants, and thus not good for the adrenals.

Sure if your adrenal glands are healthy, once in a while will do no harm at all. Its more those suffering from chronic fatigue syndrome, or using daily can wear down the adrenal glands much like any other stimulant.

The cacao nibs are raw but not the powder or butter
