Date: March 07, 2011 12:14AM I made some raw food chocolate almond bars ---and it taste good but the chocolate does not get hard after in the freezer still if I take it out it is still pliable and will not break..and it melts quickly in my hands--

Date: March 08, 2011 08:23PM Cocoa butter is very hard at room temp... maybe try that. Are you following a recipe at all or just winging it? If you use a recipe that's got good review you might have more success. Check out the sunny raw blog, her stuff is usually delicious and gourmet. Re: Chocolate will not get hard

Date: March 08, 2011 08:40PM The maple syrup--it resists freezing, plus, that's a high proportion of liquid to solids, especially if the coconut oil is liquified. Try reducing the coconut oil, IMO. Good luck. Re: Chocolate will not get hard
