A "sleep" question for Bryan
Posted by: Peisinoe ()

Hey Bryan-

I remember you discussing a lot about how, while you were detoxing, you slept quite a lot.

Can you tell me roughly how much you slept, over how long a period of time, and how many periods of time there were?
Also, did you ever get your blood values checked for things like low iron?

Or was the fatigue more a psychological thing?

Thanks!!

I must have missed it. My big sleep happened for a 4 month period, where I was sleeping for 16 hours a day. Each month this reduced, until I was able to sleep for only 8 hours again.

I had started raw a year earlier. 6 month earlier, I became 100% raw. Just before the major detox, I shifted my diet from a high fat raw diet to a high fruit low fat raw diet. This shift of diet gave my body the extra energy it needed to conduct such a detox. Plus, I removed all stimulants from my diet (spices and condiments).
