1. I'm very often doing something new in the way of a cleanse or fast-- a 2 week juice fast, or intermittent fasting, dry fasting after dinner, or whatever. This week I've been water fasting during the day, eating a healthy dinner between 4 and 5:30, and then dry fasting till breakfast.

2. I usually get 8 or 9 hours of sleep, and I block out my bedroom window with a super-duper-thick curtain so that we can sleep in a totally dark room.

3. I try to exercise daily, usually at the gym, but sometimes just in my living room. I combine aerobics, weight bearing exercise and yoga in whatever combination suits me at the time.

4. I steam and sauna 2-3 times a week, and I'm addicted. It's my favorite time, because it's so easy to meditate, chant (if no one's around) and/or project positive visions when you're relaxing in the sauna, especially.

5. During the growing season I grow some of our food in a community garden.

6. I walk everywhere I can; we don't want or need a car.

I am so trying to get to where you are. I work two jobs and find it difficult to not use an alarm clock, but on my days when an alarm is not necessary, my whole day seems to go better and I feel great.

I have just weaned myself off of shampoo and I have been looking for an alternative to body gel. Does the Apple Cider Vinegar dry out your skin? I have been using baking soda massaged into my scalp and vinegar rinse on my hair and it really dries it out after about a week and I need to use shampoo & conditioner. What do you do?

I am on day 12 of a detox fast (master cleanser). I am feeling great so I am going to keep going until all toxins are gone.

When I am not fasting, I juice every morning with Kale, Romaine, Lemon, Ginger & Apple or I juice Cucumber, Beet, ginger and carrot.

I try to eat all fruit in the morning and vegetables later in the day with nut dressings or avacados.

I do Yoga or Pilates at least once a day for 20 to 60 minutes a time. I want to get into Qi Gong and I have ordered a DVD for that.

I drybrush before showering but I haven't found the special face brush yet. I would like to find that and begin to brush my face too.

In the summer time, I am very active and use a rebounder daily for cleansing in addition to other exercise.

I brush my teeth with baking soda.

I have given up all make-up and beauty products (which was huge for me)- It has only been about 3 weeks since I quit and people still look at me really weird like they can't quite figure out what is different.

I have begun to reuse everything and I am making an effort to only buy things secondhand, if possible.

My worldly possessions are becoming less attractive to me and as I detox my body, I have also detoxed my house by getting rid of all chemicals and clutter! Every day I decide to donate more items to free up space. I am trying to get everything organized and I now love minimalism!

1. I eat a whole head of romain lettuce everyday

2. I walk everyday for 1 hour or more.

3. I haven't used toothpaste,& deoderant, in 2 years. I use Baking soda instead.

4. I never use elevators, I walk up the stairs no matter how many flights.

5. My favorite exercise is using my ripstick to get around.

6. I don't have and don't use any plastic containers in my house.

When you water fast, is that the extent of it- you drink only water for 24 hours or do you have to do something to make sure the toxins aren't re-absorbed by the body?

Not sure who the question was intended for, but in my case, when I water fast the only 'eliminator' I use is sometimes I'll have a cup of Smooth Move herb tea. Not very often though. I haven't done enemas for years, though when I started out as a 'rawster' (raw youngster?) many years ago, I did them, because I was a lot more toxic and felt I needed to help the toxins exit my body.

Lately I've been doing water fasting and dry fasting intermittently, having one meal a day. This means I'm still eliminating once or twice a day, while getting the benefits of many hours of fasting. It's pretty cool.

Hi. Sorry for the late reply.

I dilute my ACV. I use 2 tablespoons of ACV in 1 gallon of water. I soak my washcloth with the ACV mix and gently wash away. It never dries my skin. My skin looks better than ever. Soap used to dry my skin and I would then have to use tons of lotion to rehydrate. My elbows look better than ever. I used to have the ugliest elbows I'd ever seen on any female. They've really improved.
