Just out of curiousity I looked up vegetarian shark. There is one known! But shes not naturally so, as she had an operation to remove a hook.

I can't imagine a shark eating lettuce, but there it is!

I don't know what to make of this. Have they done a brain scan to see whether there might be something else wrong?; a shark cannot thrive on just greens, especially a shark. Maybe this is a case of the fastest evolutionary leap ever!

I hope Florence continues to do well smiling smiley

Intially I didn't want to mention that they are actually hiding small pieces of fish in her food, but they have to be very small. If she smells or tastes them, she rejects it.

I think that since she bit into the bait with a hook, shes afraid to eat any fish. Maybe its part of the recovery process? Maybe she will eventually start to eat the usual shark diet if they leave her alone? I don't know.

Ah, I hadn't thought of that--you are probably right. Poor thing, I hope she fully recovers from the trauma.
