Question Regarding Moldy Fruit
Posted by: Sebert ()

So I got this bag of cherries. They taste excellent by the way! However...after eating a couple I kept noticing mold on a cherry here and there. So my question is, is it okay to eat the non-moldy cherries and just toss the moldy guys or is it possible that there is some mold (not visisble) on most of the cherries and I will get sick from eating them?

I would toss the moldy guys but I would rinse well the remainder, and also every 24 hrs rinse again.

I would toss the moldy and eat the non-visibly moldy ones - also toss if they're squishy or brownish in color. smiling smiley
