Rotating your greens

I was wondering.... would it be considered rotating if you ate green curly kale one week and purple kale the next week? Heck, I've had 4 different types of kale in the past month. Would it qualify as rotating though?

? Whose definition or suggestion are you referring to?

For me, I would prefer more variety, such as chard, collards, spinach, romaine. But if you prefer kale, different types of kale, I don't see why that's a problem.

Different types of kale are likely to be more nutritionally similar than say, kale and spinach are, but there are no rules. Different natural coloration in your food actually represents some good nutritional variance, so you have that going for you.

I would say you should enjoy your kale as long as you are enjoying your kale. If it begins to seem less appetizing over time, this may be your system telling you to add variety.
