Date: May 11, 2009 12:45AM pre raw i was never a big eater of grains , breads, .. so i have just never carried over to using them raw
legumes seem really hard to digest (for me anyways) without cooking and i have yet to have found a list that lists the ones that are truly ok to eat raw ...Jodi, the banana eating buddhist Re: grains

Date: May 11, 2009 01:43AM I did try to eat sprouted millet, quinoa, even wheat but I really don't like the taste and the starchy feeling it gave. After a few recipes, all with horrible taste, I gave up without any regret. Some say that grains contain opiacés - addictive for those qho eat it.
Well, bread was the last thing I ate cooked. Probably why I still think about it. my last craving to overcome... Re: grains

If I eat sprouts, it's not usually grain; it's usually legumes or fruit (buckwheat). Re: grains

Who eats grains and legumes unsprouted?--agoneeeeee! I don't eat [sprouted]grains or legumes at all anymore, for the reasons cynthia listed. Curiously, my body doesn't miss them. Re: grains
