Date: October 12, 2014 11:18PM But massive amount of juices may not be good for you
Green vegetables have anti nutrients. Pushing massive amount of anti nutrients into your body is not optimal. It hurt your system when you are not eating anything else to counterbalance the anti nutrients. It is better to water fast or dry fast few days a month. Edited 2 time(s). Date: October 13, 2014 12:17AM I understand the benefits of doing a water fast. I've never tried a juice fast myself. It does look more laborious but I can see some benefits too. Not all vegs have antinutrients. Re: did someone stole John Rose juice fasting idea and sold it?

Date: October 13, 2014 01:38AM Juice fast can work the problem here is that they are only drinking green juices.
What about root vegetables juices? Even greens need to be rotated. "Goitrogens in kale and other brassicas can interfere with thyroid hormone function in susceptible individuals. Oxalic acid in spinach can be problematic for people who are prone to kidney stone formation." Re: did someone stole John Rose juice fasting idea and sold it?

Did you read the article? It promotes animal foods as better without making any references.

I guess people should trust her just because Re: did someone stole John Rose juice fasting idea and sold it?

You are correct about the article. But still long term green juice fast is not good. Better short term water or dry fast. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 10/19/2014 08:44PM by RawPracticalist. Re: did someone stole John Rose juice fasting idea and sold it?

Uh, juice fast always better than water? Anyone with any knowledge knows this. Long term juice fast not for everyone, for sure! During detox-regardless of how many days (which by the way, we are all toxic) one needs these vitamins, minerals, hydration etc. to detox and offset the acid byproduct of this function. Some will also benefit from the fatty acids in sprouts to get through all this. It keeps blood sugar stable etc. OMG! You should listen to what John Rose says about this if you need to. Date: October 21, 2014 10:13AM For most the main issue is not lack of food but too much food.
Even children and babies are getting overweight. That is what make water and dry fasting so beneficial, the entire body is resting. Long term green juice feast is not a fast. Short term water and dry fast are fast Re: did someone stole John Rose juice fasting idea and sold it?
