Raw-friendly towns

Hi! I recently got my certifications as a raw chef, nutritionist, fitness trainer and raw lifestyle coach.

I am currently in the market for a job in this field and was wondering where there is a high demand for raw foodie skills?

I would prefer to stay in the south, southwest, or west coast (i.e... anywhere but up north!). I know Sedona has a fairly thriving raw community, but not sure if they are in need of any more people working in the field.

Any suggestions? Thanks

PREM

I dont know of any place that would be best. With more and more people being aware of the positive aspects of a more "closer to nature" way of eating you could probably establish yourself just about anywhere. Some places you will just need more use of publicity and drive.

I just want to wish you all best of luck!! You have a great resumé going!

May the universe take you easly where you want to go.

California is a great place, I imagine, if you are looking to break into an already somewhat established raw scene and are looking to take it further.

Best of luck to you. Sounds like you are following your heart, so anywhere will be good smiling smiley

That's wonderful! Thank you so much for your help. How's the raw scene in Boulder Colorado, do you know?

Prem,

It might serve you better to go to a community where there isn't an already established raw scene there. You can then set up raw workshops and raw potlucks and create your own scene.

Olympia, WA.
We'd love to have a raw food place there!
Portland, OR is also pretty good... there is a raw food place there, but it's a big city, it could use more. smiling smiley

If you love a challenge, go ahead and pick someplace like Aberdeen, WA... grinning smiley
