The only nuts I "like" are peanuts -I can wash down other nuts if I forced myself smiling smiley-, but it my town, I can not find bulk peanuts so I have to buy canned. Am I eating "Live" peanuts?

I'm gonna try really hard to not sound sarcastic here but.......the part where you said 'dry roasted' should have been you first clue..........
Secondly...theytre not organic and are a source of aflatoxin and numerous pesticides! Not only that but they contain gelatin......not vegan....not even vegetarian. There are raw organic peanuts from natures first law and possibly other places. Truth be told tho you're much better off without eating nuts of any kind. Peanuts aren't real nuts anyways...they're legumes......

Peanuts are not a nut; they are a legume, first of all.

Definitely not raw for your roasted ones. I don't think you can find raw peanuts anywhere except Jungle Peanuts and you'd have to find those probably at a health food store and labled as "raw."

I like to eat raw nuts, and occasionally I eat raw Jungle Peanuts (recently harvested my first crop).

But Planters Dry Roasted Peanuts are not considered "live". Sorry.
