I love raw corn when it's in season. Corn is always best fresh, but when you're eating it raw this is even more important.

Most of the folks, including myself, have had no problems digesting it.

Does "UC" mean ulcerative colitis? I have a friend who was recently diagnosed with this and the standard advice seems to be to eat NO raw foods. How are you doing?

Tara,

Yes UC means ulcerative colitis

I would really sugest your friend goes raw, asap, even if the symptoms are not bad yet. All doctors tell you that it is not good. and that you can't digest these foods. This is wrong. The doctors think that I have protitis, which is only located in the rectum. This is where the disease starts. Then it starts to spread through out the colon. If your friend does not stop eating bad foods. Then this will happen. Once your friend goes raw it has to be for life or the disease will come back.

you will have to try it for you

it dosent digest great for me, so I ate it less, sure I could digest it now.

Only thing that caused be problem was mushrooms, ended up in hospital with an obstruction. But.. YOU have to see what works/dosent work for you

corn is lovely, enjoy..perfect time of year smiling smiley
