Date: August 01, 2006 04:08PM How many of you have seen a nutrionist to make sure you are getting the appropriate amount of vitamins and minerals? I have just started eating raw and am feeling better but I think I need to find a nutrionist.

Date: August 01, 2006 06:09PM I second the fitday suggestion. Another nutritional calculator with more up-to-date nutrition charts is nutridiary, but it is a little harder to use than fitday. Re: Seeing a Nutrionist

Date: August 01, 2006 06:46PM If you can find a VEGAN nutritionist, that might be helpful. I did that once many years ago. I informed the nutritionist I wanted to eat only raw vegan foods, and the advice she gave me then is still helpful today.
Best wishes, -Ally Re: Seeing a Nutrionist

Date: August 02, 2006 04:54AM i would rather follow an advice of some raw food guru, with many years experience plus at the same time - & talking from the expereince here - observe how U'r body/system is doing on the food that U'r consuming....
U can do U'r best but if U'r system is wracked, like mine, it still might not be enough so then U'll have to tailor it to U'r own personal case good luck LOVE & BLESSINGS, Basia Re: Seeing a Nutrionist

Date: August 02, 2006 12:08PM I think a standard nutritionist would parrot too many of the accepted beliefs of our society (ie cook to release nutrients). I have heard them many times! And it's just as easy to refute with science too.
Now finding a vegan one, or even a raw one... now that could be helpful for you! Cheers, Sheryl Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
