Date: August 01, 2006 11:19PM I am looking for some kind of algae or seaweed to consume because I need the iodine. Does anyone recommend it? Is there something else better? Does the powder contain iodine, or does it get processed? Anyone? Thank you! Re: Let's talk about spirulina.

Date: August 02, 2006 06:22AM If you get the spirulina, you might want to avoid the spirulina FLAKES because they have a processed soy additive (or they used to). Just make sure to read the label. The powdered spirulina doesn't have the soy (again, check the label).
I like spirulina a lot, but I quit eating it because it made me constipated. I personally prefer dulse and nori. Best wishes, Ally Re: Let's talk about spirulina.

Date: August 02, 2006 06:58AM I'm allergic to spirulina. Seawood is good though. Re: Let's talk about spirulina.
