Date: July 20, 2009 10:47PM hello,
two weeks ago i have decided to go from standard western diet to raw vegan diet. i have been searching the net on some info in regards to transfering my 14 months old daughter onto more raw/fresh diet. but i can't find anything. anyway, she is on cow's milk at the moment and i would like to know if there are any other drink that would replace the milk, and served the purpose. thanks for any ideas or tips. stani Re: New to raw foods.

Almond milk can replace cow milk but I would go easy on that. Banana milk is great. Just blend bananas with enough water to get the consistency you like. I would try and feed your daughter as much raw fruits and veggies (mostly fruits) as you can get her to eat. Spinach and banana smoothies are great and full of nutrition. Spinach, by volume, has more calcium than cow milk. you can call them emerald princess smoothies, or something cool she would like. Re: New to raw foods.
