Will you share what you ate today

I am really new to eating raw. I'm reading as much as I can get my hands on. I've also purchased a few raw recipe books. I want to make this easy, but don't want it to feel boring. I'm going to try to add a couple of new recipes each week to my diet. I also want to make sure that I am getting the right amount of nutrients, etc. Would anyone who has been doing this for awhile care to share what you are eating to give us neebies some ideas here. Thanks.

I'm new too.

So far today I've had:

Banana, sprouts, ground flax and agave shake

An orange, a pear, some raw pumpkin seeds, some sun dried raisins, about 2 cups of cantaloupe.

baby carrots and summer squash in a ground sesame dip, some sweet corn cut off the cob with a little salt.

I think I had two dates in the morning too.

It's 4:42pm and I have to work late. But I still have an orange and some bananas left (with my trusty pumpkin seeds)

I'll eat some bananas later on(about 7pm) and that will be all for today.

I'm new as well...and loving it!

For breakfast today I had 2 apples and a huge bag of grapes

Then for lunch I had a asian salad made with squash, carrots, red cabbage, onions, and a tiny bit of fresh cilantro- topped with an amazing "peanut sauce".

Havent eaten dinner yet, but I already started marinating the mushrooms for my hearty corn salad topped with marinated portabella mushrooms.

And for desert I made some "cheese-cake pudding" which may be the most amazing thing I ever tasted!!!

I drank the sun through my shoulders
I sipped the nectar of honeysuckles
I imbibed the rain as it gushed through the clear rafters that heard doves overhead
I gorged on someone's smile and laughter
and I ate an apple toosmiling smiley

La V - what beautiful poetry smiling smiley

I had a big glass of green juice (cucumber, kale, apple, zucchini, spinach), then later, 5 bananas.... strange, I'm not normally a banana person... esp when there's a couple of honey mangos wafting their delicious scent over from the bowl in the kitchen...I just passed them right over for the mundane ol' nanas... probly get em later tho grinning smiley
