What is Spanish for vegan?

Date: August 05, 2006 03:35PM Hi, I am off to Barcelona but cannot find the word VEGAN in translation anywhere. Anyone know?

And rawfoodist is "crudivoro" or "comida cruda" In french, vegan is "vegetalien" and rawfoodist is "crudivore" I'm french, currently living in the US, but just bought a farm in Spain to live off the land after March. So I have to learn this vocabulary now... Stephane Re: What is Spanish for vegan?

Date: August 07, 2006 04:02AM yeah, it's soy vegano/soy vegana.
i don't recall eating in any non-veg. restaurants in barcelona (except for maoz), but i don't think the general public's understanding of the word will be that great. and if you're in a pinch you can find some vegan items in el cortes inglés. Re: What is Spanish for vegan?
