in my transition im finding i am needing to include one of these two.
my question to you is out of 1/2 cup cooked chickpeas or 1/4 cup almonds
which is the better option to move more towards eating 80 10 10 ? thank you

The Almonds, like all nuts, have a high fat content but if they are truly raw then IMO they would be a better choice then eating cooked food because cooking damages food.

I agree, but try to find some "truly raw" almonds.

Anyway, 1/4 cup of almonds a day, should be compatible with 80/10/10/.
