Does anyone have any ideas on curing iron deficiency naturally?
I eat mostly fruit and greens right now, but I'm willing to try almost anything that has been successful for someone or else I'm going to have to take pills and blood transfusion.

You might try eating a few more nuts and/or seeds everyday. Sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds are all high in iron, and you don't need much.

Here are the nuts and seeds that are highest in iron:

I am in this exact same boat. I am pregnant though and have been struggling with two things. In the beginning of my pregnancy I was sick with morning sickness (which I have heard is a detox), all day long. It started at 11am and just continued throughout the day until about six. So, my eating got all screwed up and my iron got low from the start. Now that I feel better, I am struggling tremendously to stay raw, and to get my iron back up. I would love any suggestions about either one, I have yet to read your article Debbietook, am on my way to do that. Is anyone here currently pregnant or have gone through pregnancy raw? I would love to get some advice on that as well!!

This is interesting because it appears cooked fooders have a hard time getting enough iron but I'm always over the RDA. I eat high fruit low fat.
