How about eating avocado's ? Or is low fat the best for fighting cancer ? I was thinking of giving mum juices and having her eat an avocado each day also, Only because she is losing a fair bit of weight, which she is worried about. Paul Re: cancer fighting

Date: January 18, 2010 09:18PM Hi,
Mum is not doing well today on her juices. She has had 2 full days on just green juices - spinach with celery and cucumber, and some wheatgrass with celery. Tonight she is not felling very well, sick and she has been on the toilet for the last 2 days. Is it the lack of fruits or to much greens, Or i think it might be the spinach. I have had my own problems with spinach when i used to do smoothies and i had to stop having spinach and move on to kale. Does she need to eat some fruits ? I keep reading that sugar feeds the cancer so............. any ideas on green juices that will be ok for her ???? Cheers, Paul Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 01/18/2010 09:19PM by paulieGB. You haven't said whether your mom is undergoing clinical treatments for her cancer. Also, you haven't said what sort of cancer she has and at what stage. The body must be literally flooded with chlorophyll rich juices to suspend the progress of the cancer, and when the cells die, it is very traumatic--they are toxic themselves, they give off toxins when alive, and if they are angiogenic(have formed an independent network of blood vessels to tap into the body's blood supply) the death of these lines is physically painful. If your mother is undergoing chemotherapy or even radiation, this destroys soft tissues, nerves, blood vessels, and toxifies various organs; the therapy itself causes pain and discomfort. Try varying the greens a bit and not so much celery--it's high in sodium and she could already have an electrolyte imbalance. Increase the wheatgrass to what she can tolerate. Avoiding all fruit isn't good; it starves the healthy cells too, including immune cells. Just don't give your mom large amounts of sugary fruit straight or juiced. Mix it with chlorophyll rich greens. Remember that she is very ill, and that healing will cause discomfort. Think of the detox that a relatively healthy person goes through. It's multiplied many times with cancer present. Please keep us posted and my best wishes to both of you. Re: cancer fighting

He mentioned this Gershen diet before. Said you had to read his book. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
