What raw stuff do you have in your cupboards?
Date: February 14, 2010 05:17PM

I've just bought a jar of Nature's Living Superfood and ground linseed. I also like spirulina and barley juice powder and always see benefits from them (though I'm too poor for them at the moment, LOL) My boyfs. mouth ulcers seem to diminish when having barley juice powder regularly.

I've tried e3live, can't remember if it changed my life or not, though my purse was strangely empty afterwards! smiling smiley

What non-fresh raw bits and pieces do you add to your diet, and what kind of success do you have with them?

Dried fruits, nuts, spirulina (Whole Foods has it in bulk), spices, really raw honey (it's solidified)...I'm sure I'll think of others.

Raw organic ground flax - wouldn't go a day without it! My Mom, who is in her 80's, was encouraged by her specialist to go on it, but kept putting it off until I brought her some and told her just to take it with water. She couldn't believe how good it made her feel. She's wondering now why she waited so long to try it.

Also love hemp milk, my husband likes almond butter and raw honey. Lots of nuts, especially almonds. A good multi - I prefer New Chapters. I also take various amino acid supplements and have had tremendous results with them, especially SAMe - I work out and run and I spent a lot of time at physio the past year until I got on the SAMe, all my aching joints just stopped aching. I've really spent time playing around with SAMe, reducing the dosage, not taking it, I notice the change almost immediately. Gabriel Cousins writes about amino acid supplementation (as well as others), that's where I first read about it.

My next thing will be to grow my own Wheat Grass and juice it, but I have to save for this. I tried Wheat Grass juice recently and loved it.

I like MyChelle skin care products and shop at places that offer non-toxic cleaners and body care products. Let's face it, it's not just the food we eat or the water we drink, but all of the things we expose ourselves to everyday that impact our health.

Nothing-- absolutely nothing raw in the cupboards. Everything is in the refrigerator.
