I have read it. Great book in my opinion.

BUT, that depends what you are looking to get out of it.
It's a heart felt presentation on Anne and her fruit choices and her life, as well as how she takes it all to heart. It's not a how to book, a recipe book or meant to teach or persuade anyone one way or the other.

Hi tanawana
I'm not looking for recipes or to be persuaded. smiling smiley I crossed that line some time ago! so this book sounds like it may be an interesting read.
Apparently Anne has been a fruitarian for over 17 years. It will be interesting to hear her story. Thanks for posting.

A new fruitarian book, that's great! Maybe, I'll get it.

Here is her website, if you haven't seen it yet, there is tons of info there:

a review of the book with a sample menu, I wouldn't go this greens-free:

Breakfast - Watermelon
Morning Snack - Canteloupe
Lunch - Grapes
Afternoon Snack - Mangoes
Dinner- Bananas

I like what the review says about seeds, seeds don't seem to agree with me. I get along better with coconut, which is a drupe:
"She does not recommend eating seeds because many of them contain chemicals that are poisonous to the human body. She believes our role is to eat the fruit and scatter the seeds so that a new tree can grow and provide us with nourishment."

Hi tropical
I agree about what has been said about fruit seeds. I leave them alone too.

I am unable to manage melons. I get terribly bloated if i eat them.
I start to get IBS symtoms appearing after only one small meal of melon. I have made sure that they are not over or under ripe and I mono eat on an empty stomach.
It has been suggested that once the body has cleansed sufficiently then it is possible to enjoy any ripe fruit. Maybe I just havnt reached that place yet, or maybe my body just does not require them.

Debbie
Thanks for your reply. I will buy it.

Thanks everyone x

Thanks for all the site links.

Sorry, When I wrote 'several searches' in my original post, I meant searches run on this site about the book.
Looking back at my original post, I did not make that clear. I had checked out the book and author. The reviews appeared very positive.
I was simply looking for feedback from people on this board.

Thanks again for your help. Much appreciated.

It's an EXCELLENT book. I ordered it as soon as it was available last year. It's worth every penny and much more!

I HIGHLY recommend it! smiling smiley
