colon bleeding! HELP!

Date: August 25, 2006 02:56PM I got intestinal bleeding, near the anal. I have been eating the living and raw food diet for 1,5 years now and tried eating just peeled, soft, ripened fruits for several weeks, still with bleedings and bad bowels.
Any advise? Re: colon bleeding! HELP!

Was it light red or dark red blood (light red would be more superficial, like hemorroids) - darker red might mean it was coming from further in your intestines, like the small intestine even. Have you been previously diagnosed with any type of bowel condition? Crohn's, Colitis? Was this happening before raw foods? You say you've been raw for 1.5 years - have you consistently throughout the time had bowel problems? What effect does the raw diet seem to have on your condition? Makes it better? Worse? No change? Just really curious here because it seems like an odd problem to have after such a long time being raw. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
