Master Cleanse

Date: August 26, 2006 01:12PM I want to start the Master Cleanse, however I Do not have access to organic lemons, I do (Harris Teeter) BUT I really dont believe they are organic/....Can I fast instead with distilled water and cayeene pepper>>>? Re: Master Cleanse

Date: August 26, 2006 07:56PM I have done cleanses with conventional lemons in the past and they work just the same. A cleanse with those lemons is still better than no cleanse, don't you think? Organic fruits and vegetables are often too expensive for some of us, but regular vegetables are still better than canned ones or no vegetables at all. Re: Master Cleanse

Date: August 29, 2006 02:28AM I agree - conventional will definitely suffice. Just make sure you're using cayenne, lemons, and grade B or C maple syrup! The lemons and syrup are your meager supply of vitamins and minerals while on the cleanse. Good luck! It's a great experience. Re: Master Cleanse

Date: August 29, 2006 01:28PM As silly as it sounds, you might want to drink the liquid through a straw to minimize contact with your teeth. (This is recommended by dentists.) The master cleanse can wreak havoc. I did one for 18 days a few years ago, and my teeth have remained discoloured. I know it doesn't happen to everyone, but just be aware of the possibility.

Date: August 29, 2006 03:46PM Conventional Lemons are WELL protected against pesticides with that super thick skin of theirs. No need to worry about that. If it's the Life Force of the Organic fruit you're worried about, say a prayer over the Lemons. Talk to them a bit.... they'll take on a super charge, and be even better than non-loved organics!
