New doc today... old docs can't do anything. New guy said, "If you can't meet your protein needs, there's something wrong with your digestive system." This is costing a fortune. Although, ALS is killing me. Sooooo, lyme tests, bunch of other tests. None of it covered by insurance... that only pays for corporate medicine. I will be broke soon but then I can't see lasting another year. Anyway, it was good to talk to a doc who didn't tell me to eat crap. I have seen the top ALS docs and what they know about nutrition / detox / lyme / fungus / life / etc. is scary. If I owe you a PM, I am sorry. I am totally on my own and everything is difficult. I hear ya. I've got some issues for sure. PTSD poster child here. My family (dysfunctional is too kind a word) and "friends" have suggested suicide. They are worried about the expense of alternative medicine. Stay raw. Re: Can't say much...

I hope that this new battery of tests gives you some answers and a new way to approach this, or at least some confirmation.
