So what have been the positive changes in your life on the "raw journey"?

I think mine have been;
a clearer mind
a cleaner body
radient skin
it allows me to have more patience when dealing with other people
happier in general

What about you?

No acid reflux - yeah! (as long as I don't eat too many nuts)

Less packaging. smiling smiley More compost for the garden. smiling smiley

clear sinuses

happier mood (although I'm a pretty happy person in general)

every minute detail is noticed

like in slow motion

sights sounds colors smells

its all like in sparkling exquisite details

sound of a pencil scribbling on the paper and noticing each letter and appreciating just the ordinary fact that i can move a pencil across a lined piece of paper

the paper texture itself

appreciating being able to put the pencil down

feeling the movement of paper being flipped over the cardboard notepad

everything is alive

even the most extraordinarily mundane details of life

i know

sounds crazy

like

who cares?

but

i

do

its like being happy about the most ridiculous thing

like just being able to write a letter on a piece of paper

like just being able to take a shower
and notice the warmth of the water
and the soap
and the suds

and feeling grateful for being clean

or how tangy a green apple tastes
and stuff like that

the world is alive
as should be

Hmm, there are lots:

-anemia gone
-restless leg syndrome gone
-knee pain gone
-aches and pains gone (unless I overdo it on one legged rope skipping like I did Wednesday!winking smiley
-seasonal colds gone
-tension headaches and migraines gone
-drooling gone (I couldn't sleep with my mouth open so I drooled pretty badly...yuck!)

And just feeling great on a daily basis. Even if I miss out on sleep for a few days in a row, I still feel a million times better than I ever did before a low fat raw vegan diet. smiling smiley

Swayze, I saw your comment about seasonal colds gone. That reminded me that because of a stressful situation I barely slept for two nights in a row and felt myself coming down with the first cold I've had in a year (which is about how long I've been eating raw food). I was disappointed. But the cold went away in one day - WOW! My shortest cold ever!

For me it would be more peace of mind,a feeling of being closer to my higher power, and all the physical benefits like lower weight, and a general freedom from any physical distress of any kind.
Plus just the knowing that I am doing the right thing (no soul battle)

I have to say that I had never really felt my chakras until I started eating high raw, has anyone else noticed this?

- 40lb gone
- much more relaxed
- clear brain
- outdoors is so attractive now, heat not a problem
- dishes easy to wash

Those are some of the individual benefits. I cannot even imagine the change that would happen should raw vegan become world standard. That would be such a relief for the Earth and the humans. Just day dreaming...smiling smiley
