Nut replacments?

Date: January 13, 2011 09:26PM I have a neice who is allergic to nuts. I have been more of the food preparation recently in the home, so I have to think about leaving out nuts. I don't know if she really misses them, since she hasn't really had them most of her life. She's only 11 now, but has had to avoid them since 2 or so.
I think I would go "nuts" without nuts. I really like them. If I can't find suitable replacements I guess she will have to continue without them, and miss many of the taste, nutrition and health benefits. Any suggestions would be great. Re: Nut replacments?

Date: January 13, 2011 09:54PM Very good suggestions. I don't know the whole list of things she can eat or not. But those are great things to ask about. She hasn't been exposed to much variety, so I don't know if she will like them or be open to trying them, but a totally different question altogether. Thank you!
