Does anyone here eat Gogi Berries or Cranberries?

I'm thinking about adding a small amount to my Green Smoothies.
I believe I read somewhere that Gogi Berries are in the Nightshade
family.
Has anyone here tried either?.....WY

Gogi berries are so gross (to me). The taste like dust. Cranberries are incredibly tart. I would just those with pineapple or very sweet apple maybe. The gogis I'd just eat a few with a glass of water. That isn't a flavour I'd want to taste for an entire smoothie!

I put cranberries sometimes in my smoothies in the late fall (around Thanksgiving) when fresh cranberries are easy to find. They work ok, taste good. The skin doesn't usually grind to a perfect smoothness the way banana or papaya or some softer fruits do though.

I've never used fresh goji berries. They are in the nightshade family.

I know goji berries are in the nightshade family but I would have thought they were quite far removed since you can eat the leaves in salads or soups raw and they are part of Chinese diet (I was told that by someone who cultivates goji). Most other nightshade family members you can't eat the leaves.

lol. I used to make Goji Berry smoothies. It depends on what you blend them with. I loved them blended with macintosh apples and a few frozen berries. The taste mixed well. I don't drink green smoothies so no idea on how they'd work with them.

I found them sickening to eat on their own. Sometimes I buy trail mixes and they're included.

dunno about Goji berries, but I LOVE fresh cranberry juice, I juice them with my omega, then juice carrots and kale, and I really love the mix, sometimes I do just carrots as I cant really afford to do kale that often anymore, has been $1 for a 2lb bag lately, so ive enjoyed a lot of cranberry juice... lol... I place the skins in a sandwich baggie and freeze them to use in a smoothie later, or use them and the juice to make a smoothie right then...

What is love?
Can the child within my heart rise above?
Can I sail through the changing ocean tides?
Can I handle the seasons of my life?
