Does potato color relate to nutritive value?

Like, for example brown mushrooms are more nutritional than white mushrooms does the same apply to potatoes?

Yes, the highly colored ones are almost always better choices than the white ones. Yukon gold has more carotenoids than the white potatoes.

ALso, sweet potatoes (orange or purple) have more vitamins and minerals than regular potatoes.
