The one where you put some iodine tenture on a soft body part and if it disappears in less than an hour that means you are deficient. Thanks in advance! Re: Test for iodine deficiency??

Date: April 26, 2011 01:36AM I read about it on the internet. I bought the iodine at the drug store.
Been an hour and stain is still there. I hope it is accurate because that would be one thing I can rule and move on to trying find out what my problem is. Re: Test for iodine deficiency??

Blood would likely be better although probably not 100% accurate either. [www.vegankingdom.co.uk] Re: Test for iodine deficiency??

Date: April 26, 2011 05:43PM Yeah the skin test isn't the best, mostly because a lot of things can effect how fast it soaks in. A lot of people are iodine deficient, though. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
