Algae

Date: May 04, 2011 05:42PM I was searching for algae and only found some cosmetics etc. Is it possible for us poor continental creatures to get marine algae - fresh? My next question is - are the ones in powder form with the same (or close) nutrition value as the fresh ones?
I started to believe in the aquatic ape theory, and I think we need much more iodide than official recommendation is. Re: Algae

If its iodine your looking for seaweeds are the best source and about the algae there isn't much difference nutritionally. [www.vegankingdom.co.uk] Re: Algae

My Sun-Chlorella tablets have a nice, clean smell, so I'm guessing some nutrition is still there. Plus, I like what they do. Expect to pay close to one dollar per serving. No Algae, that I know of, is totally Fresh.....WY Re: Algae
