Don't be offended, but I'm guessing you're fairly new to the Green Smoothie way of eating. Once your Body becomes adjusted, you'll lose those feelings of hunger. Plus, your weight will find its best level. I've been having two smoothies a day, here recently, and it's working very well....one Fruit, and one Green.....WY Re: green smoothie ups and downs

I like: [all organic, if possible] 1/2 bunch purple kale leaves large handful flat leaf parsley, stems as well as leaves 1 small green apple, unpeeled 1 small red apple, unpeeled 1 small red banana 3 rehydrated Medjool dates + 1/2 cup soaking water juice of one large lemon juice of one large Navel orange filtered water and ice cubes as needed The purple kale gives it a subtle perfumy fragrance and the parsely and lemon make it refreshing! Date: May 18, 2011 01:57AM My favorite green smoothie is made by putting enough water into the blender to cover the blades and then putting a handful of greens in there and starting the blender. Then with the blender running I put some frozen fruit in like blueberries or strawberries or mango or peaches. I then add two fresh peeled bananas and let the blender run for a short time. Delicious. Date: May 18, 2011 06:26AM No offense meant, but how can anyone say that after an adjustment period you will lose your hunger. The fact that it happened with your body is not a valid conclusion for other people, unless you've done the experiment with thousands of other people and have a 98% success rate. Date: May 18, 2011 04:29PM Yeah, personally I wouldn't count on "losing my hunger" just because that's what has happened for some. What I would do is have my smoothie, then snack on a banana or a few dates between breakfast and lunch. I usually start my day with a huge smoothie but that is rarely all I have.
