Chia seed OIL?

I never knew Chia Seed Oil existed in supplement form. Do you reckon it's worth it? It's a hassle for me to make the gel and then eat it. My only concern is freshness - I've read that the oil is not like flax in that it goes rancid quickly. Do you reckon chia oil in these supplements isn't rancid? Deva offer chia oil capsules and I've used their DHA in the past. Quality company it seems.

Remember you dont need to make the gel with chia seed. You can eat it straight from the spoon, add it to smoothies, use it in recipes etc.

Many people say it's healthiest to eat our foods whole, rather than processed - and this would include processed oils of any kind. I tend to agree.

So I don't reckon the oil is worth it.

But....if that's what you like, probably a small quantity won't hurt ya. smiling smiley

Buy it and try it, but I imagine it goes rancid super fast, so caveat emptor!
