When will the weight start coming off???

I'm raw again for the last 5 weeks and only see 5 pounds lost. I've gained 40 pounds over the last year, and even though there are parts of my body I like better now...arms, breasts, even hips...but, I have a gut...too much wheat and sugar, too little exercise???
Anyway, I'm exercising now and all raw and for some reason I expected the pounds to come off faster. Last time raw I can't remember what happened, but I ended up losing up to 15 pounds. One thing though....I am eating raw primarily bc it's so attractive to me probably bc of the way it makes me feel. More energetic, happier, lighter. Plus, I'm having an awesome time creating meals in the kitchen.
This way of eating seems so natural, I wonder why I ever go off it?
Thanks for any imput on the diet issue.
SO HAPPY RAW ; )

Ok, so even since the earlier post I see changes.
I still have a sort of wicked sweet tooth...but, avocado chco pudding does hit the spot, lol.

Anyway, figured, the weight comes off when it's ready...and that's a good thing. My body knows what it's doing...

The main thing is I'm grateful that I love eating this way and that it does work for my body, I can tell by how good the food tastes, hahaha....well, and lots more than that, like vitality and rosey cheeks and a more sunny disposition to name a few.

I'm so grateful for this community. It made a big difference to me last time I was 100% raw. So, I hope to take advantage of you all oldies and newbies for support!

So Happy to be Raw again...

I think I've actually read not to eat fruit after a meal because it sits in your stomach and ferments while all of the previous food is still being digested.

Watermelon for breakfast is awesome--ice cold watermelon, eaten slowly to satisfaction . . . mmmmmmmm . . . it feels so luxurious, but doesn't break the bank and requires minimal effort. The best kind of "luxury" smiling smiley
