Hey just wanted to see who makes it and drinks it.

I just made my first batch. it's pretty good, Mind doesn't really have any fizz to it, but other than that it seems normal.

I used wheat berries. What do you us?

Do you add any other flavouring to it once it's done?

How has drinking rejuvelac helped you?

Yeah, this is not supposed to be fizzy. I've made it with wheatberries and quinoa. Sometimes I don't notice anything, other times I've had extreme bursts of energy! I have been thru the detox program and Creative Health Institute a few times and drinking rejuvalac is part of the protocol. They use it as a base in several recipies like raw cheeses.

You have to be careful not to let it ferment too long, or it'll go Rancid.
I vote for not using it at all. They still use it at the 'Ann Wigmore Institute' in Puerto Rico, but don't use it at Brian Clement's 'Hippocrates Health Institute' in West Palm Beach, FL. I believe it was a disagreement over Rejuvelac that caused Wigmore and Clement to go their separate ways.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong......WY

I prefer barley rejuvelac. How make rejuvelac with quinoa? Isn't it all bitter? Think it'd be good for you? Is it the saponins that suck up all the nutrients?

Rejuvelac. We used to call it rejuve-rot. It is not a Hippocrates invention, it is a traditional drink from the Baltic countries. We used it in the past because we thought it had lacto-bacteria. We paid for a study on rejuvelac; we naively thought the fermentation would always be good bacteria. The study found that this was not the case; 40% of the batches tested were good, 60% were bad. Also, you cannot tell by the smell if the bacteria are good or bad. Instead, you can use acidophilus supplements, and they can be taken as implants also.
