i heard that you should get 25g of fiber each day and that most only get 7g of fiber.

how much fiber would you say a raw foodist gets each day in comparison to this?

is this just the minimum for healthy bowels or just right?

I would say the last thing a rawfoodist has to worry about is fiber.

i agree with Narz... unless, of course, you're really big on juicing.

according to nutritiondata.com

one medium-size apple has 3g of fiber.

one medium banana also has 3g of fiber

and one medium pear has 6g of fiber.

so if you eat 2 apples, 2 bananas, and 2 pears you get 24g of fiber.

now think of how much plant-food you eat in a whole day, and you're probably well over 25g.
