Date: March 14, 2012 06:57PM Tam, I don't think people know at all. How many times have you heard someone say things like "if it wasn't good to eat, they wouldn't be allowed to sell it."? An otherwise intelligent friend said something like this to me just the other day. He views my choosing not to eat meat and dairy as mentally disfunctional. I'm not even into the whole "peppers are a nightshade and garlic is too stimulating" realm, I just don't want to eat meat and dairy but even that he considers sick. Seriously.
