Folks,
When I buy brocolli from my farmers market it always has nice thick long stems on it.
Can that be juiced?
Any concerns regarding that?
Thanks
Vinny

sure, you can juice it! or you can make broccoli slaw by shredding it. Great in salads or as its own salad or slaw.

Peel the stems first! The outer layer is bitter insoluble fiber that isn't pleasant or tasty smiling smiley

Thanks for the tips!
I was hoping it would be ok to eat since its alot of vegetable food that comes with the florets on top.

It never makes it past the counter, I nibble on it while preparing the rest of the meal. It's just about the tastiest crunchy snack ever!

Wow thats great you have young kids that are eating veggies.
And not twinkies.
I know of a 3 yr old who eats everything EXCEPT any fresh raw food.
